Engagement & Development Summer Intern
Overview:
As a Pacvue HR AI Summer Intern, you will partner with the HR team to identify and build an AI-driven solution that transforms a key manual process into a scalable, self-service experience. Projects may include developing tools such as an AI chatbot for employee policy questions, AI-assisted job descriptions, or intelligent job pricing support.
Project Scope
In this role, you will take ownership of scoping and executing a high-impact AI initiative from concept to prototype. You’ll evaluate potential opportunities, prioritize a solution, and independently develop a functional prototype for internal rollout, gaining hands-on experience delivering practical AI applications in a real business environment.
Deliverables/Milestones
Milestone 1: Onboarding and scoping of work
Milestone 2: Creating prototype
Milestone 3: Confirming application impact through testing and validating through measurement
Milestone 4: Introduction/launch
Learning Objectives
Excellent opportunity for a student to experience how AI can automate and create streamlined and improvement of services for an HR function
Will provide exposure to HR and how automation is creating innovation and transforming the function
Intern will also learn about process analysis, presentation skills and recommendation creation
Skills & Qualifications
Interest in AI and its applications in business, operations, or HR
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms)
Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Strong communication and ability to explain ideas clearly
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies
Location/Time Zone Preference: United States
This is an hourly, remote summer internship for college students, offering up to 35 hours per week at a rate of $20 per hour. Pacvue’s internship program runs across two 9-week cohorts, and candidates may choose the option that best fits their schedule:
Cohort 1 (May 18 – July 17) or Cohort 2 (June 15 – August 14).
