Communications Intern

The Communications Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives within a life sciences organization. Working closely with marketing and communications leadership, the intern will contribute to projects that strengthen employee engagement, brand storytelling, and strategic communication planning. This role offers exposure to real-world corporate communications challenges and opportunities to help shape future-focused communication approaches. Responsibilities Support development of internal communications concepts, plans, and engagement initiatives Assist with drafting and editing content for presentations, digital channels, and communication campaigns Conduct research and synthesize insights to inform communication strategies and messaging Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve employee connection, collaboration, and information flow in a hybrid work environment Help organize and format communication materials, templates, and planning documents Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, commercial, and operational teams on special projects Participate in strategic discussions and present findings or recommendations as appropriate Strong written and verbal communication skills and interest in storytelling and organizational communication Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to think creatively about modern communication challenges Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
