  BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP   Introduction:   The BD Intern will work as part of the Capture and Proposal team to  assisting with the preparation, organization, and submission of responses to government RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. The intern works closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, engineers, and partners to ensure proposal materials are accurate, compliant, and well organized. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Tasks include but are not limited to the following: * Assisting with setting up proposal templates, outlines, and compliance matrices * Formatting and editing proposal documents to meet solicitation requirements (font, spacing, page limits, sections) * Inputting technical, pricing, and partner-provided content into proposal templates * Organizing proposal files, attachments, and supporting documentation in SharePoint or proposal folders * Supporting capture activities such as market research, opportunity tracking, and capture plan updates * Proofreading proposals for consistency, clarity, and completeness * Helping prepare final submission packages and verifying all required forms and attachments are included Supervision:   Director of Capture & Proposals   Qualifications/Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):   Education:  High School Diploma Experience: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Business, Marketing, Communications, English, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies a plus.   Interpersonal/Teamwork:  Works effectively with cross‑functional teams, including capture managers, proposal managers, engineers, and partners, to support timely and accurate proposal development.   Oral and Written Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, with the ability to follow instructions, ask clarifying questions, and edit content for accuracy and consistency.   Problem Solving: Demonstrates the ability to identify issues, follow established processes, and proactively seek solutions or guidance when challenges arise.   Integrity/Honesty:  Maintains confidentiality, handles sensitive information responsibly, and performs all tasks with professionalism and ethical judgment   Decision Making/Judgment: Exercises sound judgment by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and escalating questions or risks appropriately.     Other Requirements:   Able to work remotely, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.     GAI is an Equal Opportunity Employer    The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
