The Quality Intern will support multiple initiatives within the Quality department aimed at strengthening compliance, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing overall quality system performance. This role will assist in advancing key departmental projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and supporting routine quality operations. The intern will create current and future state process maps, document operational pain points, handoff delays and redundancies, and assist with drafting or revising SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs) under guidance. QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled as an undergrad in a college or university program Pursuing studies in Quality Management, Life Sciences, Public Health, Business, Operations, or a related field Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams Effective written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented, dependable, and capable of following established procedures Interest in quality systems, risk assessment, and process improvement Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Audit Process Enhancement Assist with revising audit checklists, templates, and standard forms (Audit Toolbox) Capture meeting minutes and clearly document action items, owners, and due dates Quality Process Analysis & Risk Assessment Create process maps that illustrate current workflows and future state recommendations Identify pain points, workflow inefficiencies, handoff delays, and redundancies Support drafting or revising SOPs/WIs under guidance to reflect updated workflows CAPA Process Improvements Support revision of CAPA forms, tools, and related process flows Other Duties Assist with routine quality operations as needed The typical base pay range for this role is USD $26,000 - $26,000 per year.
