Intern Overview:
We are seeking a tech-savvy and motivated IT Intern to support our technology
team. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT support, systems
maintenance, cybersecurity, software troubleshooting, and emerging technologies
such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The ideal
candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology
and problem-solving.
Essential Duties:
* Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware,
software, and network issues.
* Assist in setting up and configuring computers, mobile devices, and other IT
equipment.
* Help maintain and update IT documentation, asset inventories, and user
guides.
* Support system upgrades, software installations, and routine maintenance
tasks.
* Assist with monitoring system performance and security alerts.
* Participate in IT projects such as system migrations, cloud integrations, or
process automation.
* Collaborate with team members to improve IT workflows and user experience.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security protocols.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a
related field.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking
concepts.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and common enterprise
software.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with help desk systems or ticketing platforms is a plus.
* Ability to commit to a 40 hour work week during the 10 week internship
Required Education and Experience
* Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in a related area of business
* Sophomore classification or higher
* Cumulative GPA 3.0 or better
* A minimum of one year work experience
* Or equivalent military experience.
