Broker Dealer Intern

Ameritas is seeking an intern to support the Supervisory Team of our broker
dealer. Ameritas Investment Company (AIC) is one of the top broker/dealers
affiliated with a life insurance company in the nation. AIC specializes in three
primary businesses: Retail Brokerage, Investment Advisory Services and Public
Finance. AIC services more than 1000 registered representatives and investment
advisor representatives nationwide. This role will review account reports
looking for potential areas of concern which don’t align with relevant
regulatory guidelines or company standards. Flag items of concern for review by
appropriately licensed team members.

This internship will begin May 2026 and is expected to run for approximately 12
months. This position is remote and does not require daily in-office
presence.
What you do
* Use your Excel and Word Microsoft skills to sort and categorize information.
* Perform analyses and research on securities transactional data.
* Navigate various data sets to find and confirm missing information.
* Gain knowledge about the approval process of securities transactions.
* Assist with a multitude of projects and responsibilities of a wide skill
range.
* Work with a licensed principal who will give you insight into a career as a
principal.
What you bring:
* Must be actively enrolled in a college degree or university program at least
part-time as defined by your institution. Majors including Business
Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar are preferred.
* Able to fulfill at least year-round commitment
* Part time during the school year (15 - 20 hours)
* Full time during the summer (30 - 40 hours)
* Ability to utilize technology efficiently required.
* Experience with analyzing data spreadsheets required.
* Adept use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel required.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) required.
* Ability to solve problems and work autonomously is required.
