Data Entry Processor (Remote Summer Internship)

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Data Entry Processor (Remote Summer Internship) to verify and enter data for a federal client. This position will be fully remote within the United States. Data Entry & Verification Accurately input and verify data into custom software systems and databases Cross-check entries to ensure data integrity and zero-error standards Organize and file incoming documentation digitally Safeguard all data in compliance with privacy regulations Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Flexibility Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions Apply cross-functional training to support wherever the greatest need exists WHY THIS ROLE You’ll gain valuable experience in data operations, work with experienced professionals, and contribute to impactful projects. Qualifications Work schedule is 8 AM to 4:30 PM EDT, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime This internship will end in August 2026 Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated accuracy in high-volume data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Discretion and integrity when handling confidential or sensitive information Self-directed work ethic with the ability to perform consistently with minimal supervision Remote work environment; reliable internet connection required Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Preferred Skills and Experience Current enrollment in a college or university program (preferred) Clearance Required: Must pass a federal background check for an IRS clearance Posted Salary Range USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
