SUMMARY
The Finance Intern will use education and experience to support key company
initiatives while gaining valuable experience and knowledge during the
internship period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and
tasks may be assigned.
* Perform data analysis, generate reports, and develop recommendations for
process improvements.
* Deliver exceptional outcomes in support of key company initiatives.
* Provide support to the finance and operations team with tasks such as
creating reports, analysing data, and developing process improvements.
* Assist in data requirements documentation.
* Intern will participate in activities to enhance connection to the company as
a whole and encourage personal growth.
* Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as necessary ad hoc reports.
* Follow HIPAA guidelines and Privacy standards.
* Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities.
* Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develops effective
relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in
accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree or enrollment in accredited degree program; degree in
finance, decision sciences, healthcare, business, or another analytical
discipline strongly preferred.
* Expressed interest in healthcare management and analytics.
* Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience with large data sets, data
dissemination, and complex problem-solving; other relevant experience will be
considered; previous dialysis experience a strong plus.
* Strong communication and being a self-starter are preferred.
* Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and
Word.
* Analytical skills to be used and developed.
* Tableau and Alteryx skills a plus.
