Accounting Intern (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY As a Summer Accounting Intern, you’ll work closely with our accounting team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to special projects. This internship is designed to provide exposure to premium accounting, reconciliations, and internal controls in a dynamic business environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable. • Assist in the reconciliation of premium received from online and Lockbox sources. • Premium Accounting for Policy Billing Accounts. • Assist in validation of Policy Premium and Disbursement processes. • Support invoice processing and expense report auditing. • Maintain organized financial files and documentation. • Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects as needed. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Prior coursework or experience in accounting principles preferred.
