The Social Media Intern Role
We’re looking for a creative, driven Social Media Intern to support our global social media team and help elevate Qlik’s brand presence across digital platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, community engagement, and analytics within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the social media, brand, and content teams to help create and publish engaging social content, monitor conversations across platforms, and analyze performance insights that help shape our digital strategy.

You’ll work on meaningful projects that support Qlik’s thought leadership, events, and product storytelling while learning how social media drives engagement, brand awareness, and community growth. The role offers exposure to both organic and paid social media initiatives and the chance to collaborate with marketing, brand, and design teams across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital storytelling, curious about how brands engage audiences online, and eager to learn how social media strategy operates within a global marketing organization.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
· Assist in creating engaging social media content for platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
· Support content scheduling and publishing using social media management tools such as Sprout Social.
· Edit and optimize short-form videos, GIFs, and images using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
· Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and conversations and help identify opportunities for engagement.
· Track trending topics and industry conversations to identify real-time opportunities for Qlik to participate in social discussions.
· Assist in analyzing social media performance using Sprout Social and native platform insights to help inform content strategy.
· Support social media campaigns tied to company events, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives.
· Collaborate with marketing, brand, and design teams to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas.
· Assist with paid social media initiatives designed to increase reach and engagement with targeted audiences.
· Through this work, you’ll gain hands-on experience executing social media programs that help strengthen Qlik’s brand visibility and community engagement.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
· Passion for social media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling
· Strong understanding of major social media platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
· Familiarity with social media scheduling or management tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
· Basic experience with video or image editing tools (Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, iMovie, or similar)
· Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy
· Analytical mindset with interest in tracking and interpreting social media performance metrics
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field

Salary and Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $25.00 USD – $27.00 MAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
This position is eligible for comprehensive benefits, including - but not limited to - medical, dental, and vision coverage life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, paid parental / maternity leave, participation in a 401(k) program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
