The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints · Remote · Part-time
This position is within the Family Services organization to help Church leaders
care for individuals with social and emotional challenges by providing resources
that are in harmony with gospel principles. It exists to provide direct
counseling services and consultation to ecclesiastical leaders under close
supervision. The intern may be asked to assist clients and ecclesiastical
leaders with a wide variety of social and emotional problems, including but not
limited to, suicide, mental disorders, child and spouse abuse and other family
relationship problems. The incumbent provides quality customer service and
complies with all professional standard of practice. the intern works in an
environment that requires strict compliance on issues of confidentiality and
legal issues. The intern works with professionalism and sensitivity to
confidential issues, as well as strict policy and legal compliance.
