Finance Intern (Unpaid for Course Credit Only)

We're looking for a motivated accounting intern to join our finance team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world accounting practices while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain and organize financial records and documentation Assist in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy of financial data in accounting software Help with bank statement reconciliations Support the team with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (sophomore standing or above preferred) Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred Familiarity with basic accounting principles (debits, credits, financial statements) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar software a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Practical experience in a professional accounting environment Mentorship from senior accounting staff Exposure to corporate finance Potential for future part-time employment upon completion of internship Course credit fulfillment Disclaimer: This internship is an unpaid educational opportunity intended to provide training and experience related to Human Resource Management.
