Job Description Summary Enterprise Housing Credit Investments (EHCI) is hiring a graduate-level intern to join our Acquisitions team for Summer 2026. The position will be remote with the option to work from one of our offices in Columbia, Maryland, Portland, Oregon, or New York City. The individual must have strong financial and analytical skills to assist with the analysis of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects. We are seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced individual who possesses leadership potential and will prosper in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial atmosphere. This internship has the potential to result in a full-time position. Enterprise Housing Credit Investments (EHCI) organizes and manages equity funds that invest in affordable multifamily housing financed through the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Housing Credit) program. We partner with corporate investors who invest in our funds, and we deploy the invested capital by acquiring limited partner interests in affordable housing projects developed by for profit and non-profit sponsors. EHCI’s buy-side role is to structure, underwrite, perform due diligence, close, and asset manage the affordable housing assets held by each fund. EHCI is one of several businesses that constitute Enterprise Community Investment, Inc (ECI). ECI is the financial services subsidiary of Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. (Enterprise), a national leader in creating affordable homes connected to opportunity. Interns will gain exposure to the breadth of Enterprise’s work. Job Description Job Responsibilities Preparing financial projections and evaluating potential investments Assist in the preparation of preliminary investment summaries and Credit Committee packages. Establish and maintain good working relationships with developers of affordable multifamily housing. Prepare deal information including projections, deal summary, market information, sponsor resume and financial strength, and relevant deal terms for investor review. Ensure internal record keeping and systems are kept current and maintained. Qualifications: We are seeking a graduate student or recent master’s graduate with experience and/or strong interest in affordable housing and inclusive community development. Coursework and/or experience in finance, real estate and/or financial modeling. Strong project management skills, including ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills Self-motivation: ability to work both independently and as a team player. Total Rewards at Enterprise: You will be working with a group of talented professionals who are motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing. The base pay for this role is $20 to $24 for undergraduate students and $24-$28 for graduate students, depending on level of skills and experience. The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
